About The Artist
Paula Hart has been working in Western Australia as a visual artist of recognised excellence and boundless creative energy in public and community art forever it seems. Mostly the art she makes is big. Really big. Paula’s work has all been out in the public realm and there has been little opportunity for friends or collectors to purchase a work for their home since almost last century! This project is different. To create these designs Paula has looked towards her big, public artworks in Lace Fence and laser cut metal, borrowing motifs used in those and reinventing the imagery into these delightful, wall works. Filled with Mulla Mulla, Sturt Desert Pea, Bottlebrush, Banksia and Grevillea, it’s a wonderful way to celebrate our extraordinary Western Australian wildflowers.
